Our Founding,
On the cold winter’s night of February 11th in a year long forgotten, the founding members of the Yale Undergraduate Lincoln Association climbed to the top of one of Yale’s many towers. They brought with them a life-sized cardboard cut-out of the nation’s greatest president. At the stroke of midnight, the two students and Abe looked out over Yale’s campus and read the The Gettysburg Address in unison to ring in the rail-splitting orator’s birthday.
